    Hi

    i have a dji phantom 3 and twice now ive updated firmware and it doesnt seem to work right afterwards. why do they put out non working firmware?!?!? its really frustrating. is there anything i can do about this?

    Hi Mickey,

    I’ve had these issues in the past as well. I know what you are saying, I don’t understand why they release the firmware before it has been thoroughly tested but it sure seems like they are using our expensive drones as the testers then fix them after problems are reported. I’ve read some horror stories of drones just flying away after firmware updates… it’s terrible and inexcusable. I don’t know what device you are using the app on but if you have the android version you can turn off  the auto-update for the app. I’ve been flying an older version that seems stable for awhile now.  By turning the auto update off the app doesn’t know there is an updated version of the firmware. I do not have any apple devices but I imagine there is a similar feature of their app store.
